PERFORMANCE TRAINING

Gym Rat Performance Training understands that the difference between a good and a great athlete is how much time they put into the off season both working on their game but also working on their performance and physique.

We are proud to offer a custom classes for high school, college or professional athletes preparing for their upcoming athletic endeavors through our Performance Training program.

Sessions are tailored to the needs of each athlete through a consultation. Athletes are expected to meet with a Gym Rat Coach 2 times a week (based on the discretion of the coach and the purchased package) for a workout which will last 60 minutes.

Flexibilty

General and particular strength

Sports specific footwork

Vertical and horizontal movements​

BOOTCAMP

We believe in complete player development which includes mental and physical preparation and conditioning. Throughout the year we offer an extremely challenging HIIT Bootcamp for serious athletes who are looking to take their performance and physiques to the next level. Join us to get into the best shape of your life!

  • Bootcamp’s are taught by certified personal trainers.

MEAL PLANS

Hello, I'm Mandy Harbin. I am from Georgia but moved to Alabama in 2017 with my now husband, Stephen and wonderful children. I am a Product Owner for a medical software company, I work from home 40 hours a week and I'm also an online coach.

I started training in April 2018 for my first bodybuilding competitions. I fell in love with the sport and haven't stopped since. I was a competitive cheerleader growing up.In 2020 I earned by IFBB (International Federation of Bodybuilders) professional status as a figure competitor as well as a physique competitor.  

I am available to assist Gym Rat Performance Training athletes with meal plans and nutrition advice.

Mandy Harbin is not a nutritionist - Meal Plans are for athletes or those looking to improve their eating habits.

JCIP FIT

Julia Cipollone is a ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) Trainer and holds a BS in Exercise Science from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. 

 

Julia is working on becoming an Occupational Therapist. Julia always had a love for sports and played different sports throughout her whole life. She attended Seton La-Salle high school where she played basketball and soccer. 

 

Even though she did not play for a women’s team at IUP, she participated in intramural sports. Julia’s passion for fitness grew even more after high school. After her high school sports career was over she wanted to continue to stay fit and active. Her goal was to challenge herself and to be the best version of herself.

All workout packages are designed for client to be working out 4x a week. I offer a home workout package for $75 which includes workouts for the days we are not training in person. These workouts are designed to be done at home - equipment not needed​​
